Meals on Wheels Western Michigan is excited to announce the opportunity for you to come and see our organization in action!
Many people drive past our Grandville location on a regular basis, and on the outside we appear quite small. It’s hard to believe that behind doors, we have employees and volunteers that are whipping up about 2500 meals EACH day! From the kitchen, to the prep food room, to the distribution and delivery center, we are always on our toes to ensure that 1500 seniors are being delivered to every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
We have always welcomed visitors to tour our facility, but as of Wednesday, August 3rd, we will be having a more organized, regular tour from Noon to 1pm. Can’t visit on August 3rd? No worries, come visit on the first Wednesday of any month. Wednesdays aren’t your day? We are happy to accommodate a day that fits your schedule.
Every Wednesday a light lunch will be offered, along with a new insight of the great work we do here at MOWWM. You will have the chance to network with the workers behind the scenes and ask any burning questions that you may have. Please RSVP to reserve your spot!
