Meals on Wheels Western Michigan offers three separate sponsorship opportunities. These options are a great way for you and/or your company to give back and join the fight against senior hunger and isolation. Meals on Wheels Western Michigan is excited to offer a Community Partnership opportunity where you can make one financial commitment for the year and be recognized at all our events. This partnership also includes incentives like year-round community exposure and employee engagement activities. However, we do have options for you to sponsor one of our two events, if that is your preference. Our two major fundraising events for the year will be our “Chef’s Specialty” event held in the spring and our “More Than a Meal” luncheon in the fall.

Chef’s Specialty – May 17th

This evening event is a time for our closest supporters and new friends to come together in a fun atmosphere to support seniors living healthy and independently in their own homes. This event has over 250 attendees and offers a cocktail reception with hors d’oeuvres, a tribute to our special honoree, a cooking demonstration from a celebrity chef, meaningful words from a client, and, of course, a few surprises along the way!  Guests purchase tickets to attend the event, or come as guests of sponsors.

More Than a Meal – October 12th

This is our “table hosted” lunch and an opportunity for the community to learn more about the impact we are having and join us as a financial supporter. This event is in the fall and has over 200 attendees. Our hosts, made up of board members and other supporters, invite those they know in the community who share our vision.  The event is free for attendees, though a direct ask for support is made and attendees understand it is a fundraising event.

Thank you 2018 Community Partners!
