With our new name change, it has been a goal of ours to extend our reach across West Michigan. Meals on Wheels Western Michigan has been dedicated to serving senior citizens in Kent County since 1984. Beginning October 1st, we have branched out to serving seniors in Allegan County.
As of now, we are delivering meals to approximately 100 home bound seniors in Allegan County, and we anticipate this number growing. Please note that to receive Meals on Wheels one must be 60 or older, home bound, and reside in Kent or Allegan County.
We also are providing our dining center services to more mobile seniors. Senior dining center are critical not only for the nutritious meal provided, but the social engagement that takes place. Our dining locations are listed below:
