Cocktail Class: House Rules
Bring the luxury cocktail experience home with a private, two-hour cocktail class for up to 12 people with Nate Blury of Drink GR.
A dynamic storyteller and your “spirit” guide for the evening, Nate will take you through three cocktails and three spirit samples while sharing the stories and history behind what’s in your glass. Along the way, you’ll learn recipes, techniques, and insider tips to take your cocktails from good to great—or simply sit back, sip, and enjoy the laughs.
Complete with glassware, spirits, and a custom menu curated to your palate, all you need to do is pick the time, place, and people. Your experience begins with a pre-consultation to discuss preferences, dietary considerations, and any modifications. House rules: you call the shots.
Nate is a former corporate executive turned distiller and brand builder who has made an impact on West Michigan’s hospitality community. He was an investor in Saint Liberty Whiskey, a craft spirits brand honoring women bootleggers of the Prohibition era, and he founded Drink GR to help champion the hospitality sector’s relaunch after the pandemic while celebrating local restaurants, bars, breweries, and distilleries. His work in the industry and community earned him recognition as one of the Grand Rapids Business Journal’s 40 Under 40.
