There are so many ways to support the life-saving mission of Meals on Wheels Western Michigan in addition to making a monetary donation. See below for some inspiration! Amway River Bank Run

Meals on Wheels Western Michigan is a charity partner for the 2024 Amway River Bank Run. This annual event features the largest 25K road race in the country and offers the only 25K Wheelchair racing division in the world along with a 25K Handcycle division. A portion of registration proceeds can be donated to a charity partner of your choice. Annual Food Drive

We welcome businesses/organizations to participate in our annual Meals on Wheels Food Drive. If you would be interested in hosting an internal food drive through the month of October, please contact our Pantry Manager, in early September at 616-459-3111 ext. 201 to get more details.

Plant a Row

Plant a row of produce and dedicate the harvest to our Senior Meals Pantry, so clients may enjoy fresh produce.  Local Farms are encouraged to clean their unused produce.

Product Harvesting

We happily accept donations from companies that are close to expiration date, or if there is damaged food or hygiene items that can’t be sold in stores. Regular product donations are always welcome. 

Subaru Share The Love Event

Meals on Wheels Western Michigan is proud to participate in Subaru of America, Inc.’s annual Subaru Share the Love Event. Over the past 15 years, Subaru and its retailers have helped Meals on Wheels to deliver more than 2.5 million meals nationwide to seniors in need through their Subaru Share the Love Event. Keep an eye on our social media platforms for updated information when this year’s event rolls around!

Vehicle Donation

Vehicle Donations are a unique and impactful giving option. Your unwanted car, truck, boat, motorcycle, SUV or even plane can be accepted as a donation. Your generosity qualifies for a tax deduction and we’ll do all the heavy lifting. The pick-up is free and we’ll schedule it during a time that’s convenient for you. Independent Food & Fund Drives

Food and/or Fund Drives can be done at any business, church, school or organization at ANY time of the year. Non-perishable food collected goes directly to our Senior Pantry for low-income seniors and funds help support all three of our programs here at MOWWM. HOST A VIRTUAL FUND DRIVE

Host a virtual fundraiser with your family, friends or coworkers through our GoFundMe Charity site! Raising community support through a fund drive can make a powerful difference in the lives of local seniors struggling to put food on their tables, and is a great virtual way to celebrate a birthday or special occasion, or honor a loved one. Get your workplace involved

Joining your coworkers to help local seniors is a great way to build teamwork and boost morale. Whether it’s volunteering together, donating a portion of sales, hosting a competition between teams, or hosting a community drive with your clients, you can make a powerful impact in the lives of vulnerable seniors!
