March for Meals Community Walk & 5k Run

Meals on Wheels Western Michigan’s annual March for Meals Community Walk & 5k Run is a family-friendly event for people of all ages and abilities to come together and support the health and independence of older adults in Western Michigan. The 2-mile walk and the 5k race are on that same loop. Dogs are welcome, so bring your furry friends!

Packet pickup and activities under the pavilion begin at 9:00 am on race day. We will have a brief welcome and warm-up at 10:00 am with the run beginning at 10:15 am and the walk shortly after. An alternative packet pickup is also available the Friday before the race at Meals on Wheels Western Michigan in Grandville from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm.
The price of the run is $35 (increasing to $40 on February 14th and $45 on event day) and includes a race t-shirt and finishing medal. You may opt out of a race shirt for a $10 discount.
Kids under 8 are free, so there is no need to register anyone 0-7 years old!
Awards will be given to the top 3 overall male runners and the top 3 overall female runners. Additional age group awards will be given to the top male and female runners in the following age groups:
