Thai Grilled Beef Salad

Mimi’s dad passed away 5 years ago, but the memories of him linger in every bite of this salad. Every time Mimi cooks it, she feels like she is bridging the gap between the past and the present, sending love and memories to her father in the heavens.

Mimi’s mother had taught her the recipe when she was just a little girl. It was a family secret, passed down through generations of cooks in their family. Now, every time Mimi makes this salad, she feels like she is keeping her father’s memory alive, and honoring her mother’s legacy.

This menu is her father’s favorite dish, the one he would request every time they went out for Thai food.
